tick, tock, tick, tock...

Initial review went fine but got it back last night with 'spelling mistakes' and a texture seam issue. Sent it right back with corrections. I expect they'll recheck it either now, or soon... I hope. Getting nervous now.

My brain was at 0.1% all day, sat in the garden, sipping beer with a thousand mile stare.

Ken and I discussed the DAZ version just then, shouldn't be that much work now... I hope...

edit: DAZ users - we managed on several occasions to get a copy of a 'lalified' V4 to run in DAZ (4?) by saving it through Poser Pro 2012, either through the Python-assisted Injection Method, or straight. There's seems to be some confusion about the current version but we're checking that tonight.

Please keep an eye on this blog for updates on this.

  1. Rendero makes me nervous when they remind me of Gandalf shouting:“YOUUUU SHALL NOT PASS!”

  4. Would be great if Renderotica applied that same level of QA detail to the pose sets they sell. But at least they are focusing their efforts on the important stuff... like spelling mistakes.

    1. IMO like Renderosity, Renderotica should also have a product rating system. I've purchased some poor quality products in the past but simply couldn't be bothered asking for a refund, my fault I guess. I did contact one vendor to ask a simple question about a $20 product I'd purchased from them, only to come up against a half assed attitude. That person who's still a vendor today lost my custom forever.

    2. yeah after battling for months with crossreferenced code, obsolete FBMs and missing channels... the least important thing on my mind is... that yes... :P

I hope I'd never have to refund, but I guess I'd do it if the customer was really disappointed. Would be curious about the complaint though: "I was expecting the vagina prop to have a double 18 inch dick-girl setting with elephant testicles growing out of her eyes" ... O.o eh here's your money now please go away!

    3. Hahaha, Ero, sadly in this day and age, there is always somebody out there that will disappoint you. I've got your back though as do probably anybody else commenting on here.

  5. Erogenesis,

I don't think you'll have the refund problem. we've already seen your work on display, the possibilities, not to mention the time you and your small team have taken to get it right. I'm talking about vendors who throw what looks like a decent product in the market place, only for it to be utter garbage. The more heads together the better IMO.

    1. hehehe yeah there is a lot of shit out there, isn't there? that's why I make almost everything myself. I generally don't dare buy stuff nowadays out of fear of disappointment. Plus sometimes its just more fun to make it myself :)

i hope you guys will enjoy it! whenever it comes out hehehe,,, i'm off to bed! cheers!

  6. From what I've seen, your product is going to be a very helpful tool! I've been grinding my teeth at V4's anatomical limitations ever since I downloaded a free copy of DAZ a few years ago and decided I wanted to see boobies. I've tried every other genital prop and "fix" available and it's made me a bit skeptical but, from what I've seen, Lali's bits is the genuine article! Thank you so much for sharing :)

  7. Ero,
Sounds to me like you need some more beer. Or my home made 50 proof blueberry port that will numb your face.
