Pff, after weeks and weeks of struggling with Project E I finally managed to find a workaround to my problems. It was my old method I used with Lali's Bits and even though it takes longer, it works wonders. The software update wasn't what I hoped for so I had two choices: stop and wait until the software gets sorted out, or find a workaround and carry on. I almost gave up but I chose to barge on with my old methods because I NEED PROJECT E!!!! So from now on, Lali will be PE! She did show up in renders every now and then as a different character, but her JCMs were all fucked up. Now, its been sorted and we're in business!!!! Still much refining to be done, but at least the foundations have been set. I can make comics again!
Below you can see the girl in action!
PS: the bits WM update was delayed because of this. Getting on that now! Sorry
Hey there :)
ReplyDeleteSince you are allways trying to make your lali look as awesome as she is, I found something that might be of interest for future plans.

yep I remember seeing that a while back. I'll definitely contact them at some point! thanks!
DeleteAre the "Lali Beach" pictures on DA with project E or simply LaliBits?
DeleteThey look awesome at the bending points!
I am getting not quite as good results in the arm region and so on as you do. Maybe getting in the way with other body morphs.
thanks! All my girls are Project E since this month (-ish), so yes its PE. Its all new WM and JCMs, and obviously an entirely new mesh.
DeleteWell, they look awesome ;)
DeleteVery nice! I'm glad that Project E is again moving forward! I have a small suggestion and that is to add more surface details to the back of her hands and the top of her feet like tendons and surface vessels . I look at Daz's Victoria models and very often the absence of such details are things that prevent the models from looking truly realistic instead of looking like mannequins.
ReplyDeleteI think I can try the tendons, but the vessels will have to be done with bumpmapping etc. I plan for those anyway! :D thanks!
DeleteGreat to see the progress, and she looks darn nice. A bit awkward in places, but it's hard to tell if those awkward moments are better or worse without side-by-side with V4Lali for comparison. Also great to think there may soon be an anatomically correct female model, not needing add-ons. (Though Bits is great!) Mostly, though, I want to see the next picture set. So ... Back to work! ;-)
ReplyDeletehehehe, be sure to check out my DA page as I keep that more regularly updated. Yeah there's much to refine but it will come! thanks!
DeleteI am looking at these renders with teary, dreamy eyes... I sooooooo want her one day! Real ladies would probably lynch me for saying so, but I think I never waited for a woman with that much anticipation before. She's gorgeous, bends megagorgeously and I love her already! :D
ReplyDeletehahaha! be sure to keep track of my progress on DA huh!
DeleteHow the effing heck could Lali get any sweeter and/or sexier? But she has....O Mighty Lali Creator, have mercy on us!! Fine work, bubba!!!
ReplyDeletehaha, yeah I can't help it. This subcutaneous fat you always speak of, that has now come to life :D
DeleteOne question (and if the answer to that one has already been given, forgive an old fool!): how will E react to pz2's meant for V4? Will we need to adjust or convert these? :)
ReplyDeletenot really, you just have to copy the morphs over. the question is which Poser is capable of that? I only use pro
DeleteI think Only Pro can copy a morph from a figure to another, indeed. What I meant really was about poses as in, stances. You can't use a V4 stance directly on a Genesis and vice versa, and hope it'll work just the same. I imagine that lady E fares better? :)
