Tests went very well and thanks to Arcas, the installation script is now bulletproof. Let me know a.s.a.p if you run into trouble.
An early customer just told me that if you've got a little bit of experience in coding, you can change the path to your V4 in the script to a V4 of your choice, it seems to work, he says. (but off course back the original up first!!) Thanks Peter!

PSS: Erogenesis has nothing to do with DAZ's Genesis figure. The confusion is understandable, but I made up the name Erogenesis long before I even heard of DAZ Studio or their Genesis Character.

ReplyDeleteJust one thing. No offense but I hate V4 compared to Genesis. I can get Lali bit on V5 but would love to have your morphs for her. My problem is I cannot figure out how to get them converted with GenX. I'm working on it, but if you know or anyone else figured it out, I'd appreciate it.

GenX!! that's the one. Thanks I've been looking around for what it was called. Ok I'll need to take a look because I've only heard of this once before. I can promise you, however, that its going to be a pain in the ass (V5's haha). But we'll see, I'll let you know!

DeleteI got if from Rendo, but DAZ has it now. My problem is that it doesn't seem to see anything when Lali cr2 is loaded. Normally a figure is loaded into it (I use Morphia) it then lists all morphs. Once loaded you can add additional morphs (I.E. V4++, aiko 4, etc..) then transfer morphs to Genesis. Of course they do not always have the exact same effect but makes for great tweaking. I have RajDarge's GSpot4V4.2 and have transferred V4's morphs from that and with others I can get decent results with Lali's bits on Genesis, hoping to get her morphs also and it might work pretty well.

ReplyDeleteSomething I noticed though, once I have the figure loaded into the scene, it won't accept the V4++ morph add ons. Am I doing something wrong there?
hmm, no 100% sure but my first guess would be to make sure the Victoria 4.2.cr2 is fully initialized. I'll double check on my system to make sure that's what's needed.
